Job Summary
Under general supervision, and according to standard practices and procedures, the Non-Invasive Technican assists in the performance of cardiovascular-related procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Require a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical setting.
- Require successful completion of a BLS training course within the past two (2) years or successful completion within six (6) months of hire.
- Require successful completion of Basic EKG class within six (6) months of hire.
- Require successful completion of 12-Lead EKG class within twelve (12) months of hire.
- Require successful completion of IV Insertion class during Cardiovascular Services department new hire orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer basic computer skills and abilities in order to operate database and office programs used in the department.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and with social sensitivity.

BARC: Basic Arrhythmia Certification

ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
