Job Summary
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: evaluation and treatment of functional impairment in accordance with standards of the profession as delineated in state practice act, regulatory and accrediting agencies; interpretation of the practitioner's referral; identification of and documentation of precautions, special problems, contraindications; development of a quality, cost effective treatment plan including the long and short terms goals; implementation of or directing implementation of the treatment plan; delegation of appropriate tasks; direction and supervision of support staff in a manner appropriate for the patient's individual needs; reassessment of the patient in reference to goals, modification of the treatment plan when necessary; and communication/ collaboration with the patient and members of the health care team as appropriate including but not limited to case managers, physicians, and payors. The physical therapist shall assume the responsibility for assessing the patient, identifying the level of acuity of illness, planning the patient’s treatment program, and implementing and directing the program as well as completing documentation and billing in a timely and appropriate manner.
This role will be Seasonal starting in NOVEMBER
Rate: 50.00/hr.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
Required License and Certs
FL PT: Florida Physical Therapist
Preferred License and Certs
BLS: Basic Life Support
