Job Summary
Supports the division's operations by managing projects, compiling data, and reporting on outcomes. Participates with departmental staff on refining operational procedures to maximize system functionality. Assists with system/ department projects and with implementing new post-acute department processes with input from Department leaders. Provides effective communication and support to leadership, staff, and patients with regard to all functions of the post-acute division. Preserves confidentiality in all instances and maintains compliance with all SMHCS policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Require bachelor's degree in business, hospital administration, health care administration, or related field. Relevant experience with high school diploma/ equivalency can be considered in lieu of degree requirements on a year-for-year basis.
- Require one (1) year of experience in business development, project management, and/ or program planning.
- Prefer graduate level study of healthcare management (MHA, MBA, MHSA, MSHA, or MPH).
- Prefer Lean/Six Sigma certification.
- Prefer previous experience in healthcare or other health-related experience.
- Prefer demonstrated computer experience with Windows-based operating system and applications, such as Microsoft Office, as well as experience with database systems.
- Prefer proficiency in project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize or reprioritize a variety of duties.
- Prefer technical/analytical ability and strategic thinking.
- Prefer strong organizational, presentation, consultative and written and verbal skills.
- Prefer demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills in interactions with patients, staff and physicians.
