Job Summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of a project, such as project schedules, status reports, presentations, meeting calendars, equipment orders, project activities logistics, etc. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring operational and project budgets stay within the pre-determined budget, negotiating prices with vendors, and reconciling monthly budget sheets, while coordinating the logistics of project activities, expediting orders and/or deliveries of products and resources from vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Require an Associate degree in a related field, Bachelor’s preferred.
- Require a minimum of two (2) years of project coordinating experience, preferably within a hospital setting.
- Require demonstrated ability to perform project budget monitoring and scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer demonstrated contract negotiating and technical writing skills.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to interact and interface with all levels of staff and management.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to speak in public and conduct presentations.
- Prefer familiarity with Microsoft applications, Smartsheets, and commonly used software applications required for project management.
