Job Summary
Responsible for safely operating SMH box truck and cargo van for transporting products, supplies, and equipment between Sarasota Memorial Health Care facilities. Completes pick-ups and deliveries in an accurate and timely manner, verifying items to be moved, destination, and timeframes while communicating with team members and health care employees. Loads, properly secures cargo, and completes deliveries based on schedule and routes, adhering to all traffic laws. Performs daily vehicle inspections and reports mechanical or safety issues or concerns. Performs mobile supply chain supply cart scanning and put away to maintain optimal inventory levels ambulatory sites. Provides assistance in warehouse and receiving operations as directed by Supervisor or Team Lead.
Required Qualifications
Prefer two (2) years of experience in warehouse, order picking, inventory control, receiving, stocking, and distribution.
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Required Qualifications
- Require two (2) years of professional commercial box truck driving experience.
- Require active/current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiners Card.
- Require a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age for insurance eligibility requirements.
- Require a clean driving record with no recent moving violations or suspensions, and proficient at driving, maneuvering, and parking a van or box truck with air brakes and liftgate in tight spaces.
Prefer two (2) years of experience in warehouse, order picking, inventory control, receiving, stocking, and distribution.
- Prefer valid Commercial Driver License (CDL).
- Prefer demonstrated experience with industrial warehouse equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Prefer demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and solve problems, and is accurate and detail-oriented.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
