Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Reading Teacher located in Sarasota, FL. The Reading Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing reading intervention strategies, teaching reading and comprehension skills, and supporting students in middle school. Additional duties include creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment to enhance students' reading and writing skills.
Qualifications
- Reading Intervention and Teaching skills
- Experience in Middle School education
- Strong Writing and Education skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or related field
- Teaching certification is preferred
- Experience with diverse student populations is a plus
