We're looking for an energetic person to work with people who live in our homes as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP). In this role, the Program Coordinator (PC) will develop a Life Plan for each person they support. These plans are Person Centered and set the Valued Outcomes that staff will be working on with each person during the year. To ensure these supports are provided correctly, the PC will provide training to employees on the person's Valued Outcomes and then observe staff implementing goals and reviewing documentation.
The Life Plan is the key to what supports and services a person receives. It's an opportunity help people work toward achieving meaningful goals. We've had people be able to travel to a place they always wanted to go to. One person was able to ride in a helium balloon with a friend and an employee. Another was able to attend race car training and then drive that race car at the end of the training. We recently had a gentleman that loves fire trucks and firemen, visit a local fire house and get a tour. What a way to be a difference maker in someone's life!

Experience
Required- Must meet Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) requirements
- 2 years of experience work with people with developmental/intellectual disabilities
- Experience in OPWDD services preferred
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Human Services or related field

Required- Drivers License
