What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Services Intern - Summer 2025 position at Saratoga Bridges?
Calling all Human Services majors looking for a full-time summer internship! We are offering a 10-week full-time internship of 30 to 40 hours per week. This internship will run from May to August. The hours are evenings and weekends. You will be trained to be a Direct Support worker, supporting people who have a developmental disability in one of our houses in Saratoga County, NY. No prior experience necessary.
You need to be currently enrolled in a Human Services Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college and have completed at least one year towards your degree. You GPA must be a 2.5 or higher. You must have a valid driver's license and be willing to work evenings and weekends.
The payrate for this position is $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on which home you are working at. There is an additional $1.00 differential on the weekends. We provide paid training.
