Summary:
Following the direction of the Shelf Set Manager, the Shelf Set Coordinator will be responsible for both executing and strategizing shelf space in all our retail accounts. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. Retail sales/merchandising experience is a plus.
Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation):
- Execute Independent and Chain space strategy dictated by the Shelf Set Manager working together with our supplier partners.
- Prioritizes Independent space growth while assisting with chain resets.
- Use space planning as a tool to increase sales revenue.
- Analyze planograms to proactively and reactively send recommendations to our retail partners.
- Attend multiple resets per day, Monday through Friday.
- Assist with cataloguing and designing cooler planograms.
- Responsible for ensuring that the execution is finalized post reset at retail.
- Ability to adapt to a fluctuating schedule across entirety of company territory, daily minimal overnight or weekend work may be necessary.

Qualifications:
- Educations and/or Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Assertive: Must be able to engage with competition when questions about additional space come up while at the reset.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Computer Skills: Adequate PC/Laptop skills required. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software; order processing systems; spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Ability to work with key people, both within the company and competition.
- Attention to detail and pride in the work done.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid drivers license.
- Other Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen to others. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift 50 lbs. and/or move up to 250 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance and color vision.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold (store coolers), wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Travels to various client accounts, such as, convenience stores, grocery stores and all other off premise accounts.
