Saratoga Forest Management is currently recruiting a qualified individual to fill the Saw Filer / Fitter position .
Saratoga Forest Management is an independent sawmill, located in Saratoga, WY and producing premium grade stud lumber. . We are the largest sawmill in the area and a leading employer in Carbon County, Wyoming.
Job Responsibilities
Safety is a major responsibility of this position. The primary responsibility is to achieve minimal down time by repairing and maintaining saws in a timely manner.
Specifically, the Saw Filer / Fitter will be responsible for sharpening, grinding, and swedging saws and knives used in the production of lumber and to repair guides associated with the saws.
Keep the filing room and equipment in good repair.
The successful candidate for the saw Filer / Fitter position must establish and maintain a superior quality of workmanship of saw benching, saw fitting, and knife grinding.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48 – 55 per week
