What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Events Intern position at Saratoga Hospital System?
Summary of Position:
As a Summer Events Intern for the Saratoga Hospital Foundation, you will have the opportunity to gain meaningful experience with a Gala, Fun Run and Golf Invitational across the Events function in key areas such as:
- Event planning and execution
- Vendor management and agreements
- Food and Beverage
- Audio Visual
- Volunteer management
This is a full time paid internship. The internship will last approximately 12 weeks beginning in May and ending in August.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
You will work as a part of our Events Team to support a variety of projects and initiatives and play a part in day to day operations. We will look to you to contribute new ideas and insight as a valued member of our team, consistently demonstrating a commitment to the mission of each event.
As an Intern at Saratoga Hospital Foundation you will:
- Participate in meaningful projects that directly impact our business and relate to your field of study
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization
Have direct exposure to cross functional Leadership and opportunities to learn about development and fundraising.
Minimum Qualifications: This internship is open to students pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Management or related field of study. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with technology is preferred. Evening (July 31) and some weekend (June 2) work is mandatory.
Salary Range: $17.25 - $24.15Pay Grade: 17
