Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Physicist - Chief at Long Beach, CA . This is a great full-time opportunity, 40 hours work week schedule, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with National Radiation Oncology Program (NROP) accreditation standards.
- Adhere to ACR, ASTRO, and AAPM guidelines for radiation oncology services.
- Provide evidence that services meet or exceed clinical guidelines.
- Perform routine quality assurance testing and calibration of radiation therapy equipment.
- Provide expertise in Varian TrueBeam, Eclipse Treatment Planning System, and Aria EMR.
- Conduct acceptance testing and commissioning of linear accelerators and related equipment.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Therapists to ensure optimal treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance processes and compliance reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of radiation safety procedures.
- Participate in research, clinical trials, and the integration of new technologies.
Qualifications :
Experience in quality assurance procedures.
Preferred Qualifications :
Strong research background with published work in medical physics journals.
