You will assist in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and promoting our products through effective communication and sales techniques.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with inventory management.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of service.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Experience with wine and wine tastings a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers accurately.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to analyze sales performance and inventory levels.
- Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to demonstrate products confidently and engage customers through effective demos.
