The Importance of the Role
The Logistics Coordinator will work across all teams at Sarepta’s Ohio locations to receive shipments and facilitate outgoing shipment of packages at two facilities in Columbus, Ohio. This will include all stages of the process from coordinating with ordering through delivery to placing items in final locations inside each department. Our work is done under various levels of regulation so attention to detail and previous work in regulated environments is essential. In addition, there is an expectation to take on general operations work as needed to support our preclinical and clinical research as part of the broader research operations team.

The targeted salary range for this position is $52,000 - $65,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference
- Ensure package contents are correct and investigates problems and resolves discrepancies
- Inspect shipments and record/report damage
- Coordinate the delivery of all incoming items to their final location
- Timely completion and filing of paperwork using Good Documentation Practices
- Chemical and Reagent management including receipt, inventory, shipments and tracking
- Package and schedule outgoing shipment with freight companies
- Supports lab moving and re-organization
- Creates and contributes to the editing of operational SOPs
- Laboratory supply stocking and replying to supply queries
- Identifies ways to improve processes and efficiency
- Establish and maintain safe and efficient work areas in adherence with all regulations
- Assists with training others in shipping and receiving responsibilities
- Performs related job duties as required
- Experience in hospital or regulated research setting is desirable but not necessary
- Previous experience in a fast paced receiving function is preferred.
- Ability to strictly adhere to methods and SOPs is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities is required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to respond to emergencies during nights and weekends
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are required
