We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to play a vital role involving end-to-end responsibility for bids ranging from $1 to $50MM , starting with initial document review and following through to delivery of complete bid submittals.
Position Summary
As a Project Manager, you will Provide technical management for construction projects and provide administrative support with the project superintendents through final completion.
Essential Job Functions :
Provide initial client contact to assess the scope of work and resources required to successfully complete the project.
Know the job. Review contracts, plans, specs, geotechnical report, estimate and bid.
Develop and coordinate job specific responsibilities with the superintendent.
Communicate with Estimator and Superintendent.
Set up project files and the job information packet.
Attend and participate in Pre-Construction meetings and Hand-Off meetings.
Develop submittal log, pay requisition and schedule of values.
Acquire bonds and insurance in preparation of contract signing.
Support Project Team.
Know the details of the job and have a thorough understanding of materials and resources needed 1 week to 3 months out. Identify long lead-time items.
Review item master and job cost report identify and flag issues on reports.
Manage cash flow, invoices, payroll requests, and subcontractor applications for payment, and issue requisitions
Update budgets.
Attend Exit Strategy meetings and assist in developing exit strategy, schedule, actions, etc.
Coordinate and participate in Post Job Review.
Manage requests for substantial completion, final completion, and final requisition and final payment.
Manage the punch list, follow up retention, post job coordination, collecting material, closeout certification, and lien waivers.
Submit as-builts.
Finalize contracts with subcontractors.
Assist in writing letters of recommendation for strong subcontractors.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Four-year Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred, or equivalent combination of technical training and / or related experience.
Work experience in Heavy Construction as well as Construction Supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
OSHA 30-hour training.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

This full-time position will be located at our Fremont, NH regional office. The Project Manager will collaborate with members of our New England estimating team, focusing primarily on projects in the surrounding region. Short-duration travel may be required on occasion.
