We are seeking a dedicated Audio Video Technology Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support for a variety of audio-video systems, including video conferencing and collaboration technologies, as well as other office equipment such as PCs, network systems, and copiers / plotters. Your responsibilities will include both direct support for individual end users and in-person assistance for larger group gatherings.
You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to office technology and offer technical guidance to users, both in-person and remotely. Collaboration with other technology support teams will be key to ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, set up, and support a wide range of AV systems for conference room meetings and presentations.
- Conduct regular testing and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all AV systems.
- Collaborate with third-party integrators and maintenance services for larger AV setups.
- Use the internal IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing system to manage all aspects of AV operations, support, and maintenance.
- Maintain inventory records and generate reports on system usage and issues.
- Deliver and install PCs and AV devices directly to employees’ workstations.
Work Environment :
This is a full-time, in-office position based in downtown Chicago, IL. Occasional travel to regional offices will be required.
