Senior Piping Design Consultant Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Design Consultant to join our Nuclear Power Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in piping design and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Piping Design: Develop and implement piping design solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Piping Analysis: Perform complex piping system evaluations, including vibration monitoring, hydraulic transient analysis, and pipe rupture assessments.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions meet client expectations.
- Documentation: Prepare and review documentation, including reports, studies, and specifications.
Requirements:
- Education: BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace, or Structural/Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Licensure: P.E. license.
- Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in piping engineering and analysis.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes, strong written and verbal communication skills.
