SCHEDULE: 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3am)
SUMMARY
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for bending metal parts of varying sizes on a CNC Press Brake.
Primary Functions
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten metal plates and sheet metal
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances
- Select and install appropriate tooling for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Knowledge of various metalworking techniques such as stamping press, lathe, welding, plasma cutting, and assembly
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
