- Ensures safety, quality, and legality of Sargento products by monitoring employee practices and performing risk-based decisions involving product status, placing materials on HOLD, and assisting in non-conformance process.
- Conducts projects, collects, retains, as well as performs swabbing of sites and equipment according to accredited methods and standard operating procedures.
- Performs audits of facilities and employee practices, issuing Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and verifying effectiveness of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action.
- Acts as a technical resource to various departments, applying knowledge of customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and food safety/quality standards.
- Performs individual and team-based tasks along with providing support on plant projects.
- An Associate Degree is required for this position. A bachelor’s degree in a science or related technical field is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. Ability to become proficient in Box, SAP, Savannah, Minitab, CARA Cloud, DevEx, as applicable to the position.
