Specializing in the scrap, recycling and demolition industries, we work with customers within the Midwest Region across the nation.
Job Description:
This position consists of repairing mobile and stationary heavy equipment and equipment components for customers in various industries, in shops, and in the field. Repairs would include repair / maintenance welding, fabrication and producing one off components with various welding processes and fabrication procedures, and the removal and installation of components. Company furnishes electric grinders, pneumatic needle scalers, and consumable items. Candidates are required to furnish basic hand tools, measuring tools, and layout tools.

Requirements:
Must be proficient in both SMAW and GMAW welding, welding with stainless steel and hard surfacing products is a plus.
Must be proficient using torch and carbon arc gouging equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a safe work environment
Fabricating and blueprint reading experience is preferred
Flexibility to move between functions as required by customer demand
Heavy Lifting (occasionally up to 50 lbs.)
The ability to weld in all positions and run multiple pass welds
General math skills required, ability to read a tape measure, inch and/or mm
Ability to use carbon arc gouging, acetylene torch, grinders and most other general manufacturing
Must be able to pass the in-house welding test
Good communication skills between employees and possible clients
Well maintained driving record, have or will obtain a CDL
Organized with work orders and your work area
Pre employment Drug screening upon hire
- Experience with fabrication equipment to create components using:
- Metal Bandsaws
- Mag Drills / Drill Presses
- Ironworker / Punch Press
- Portable Line Boring (Not a Requirement but will train the right candidate.)
- CNC Plasma (Not a requirement but will train.)
The ability to fabricate components with or without a print.
Salary : $19 - $26
