Education:
- High School Diploma/ or GED equivalent
- Trade or extensive experience in the field
- Valid Driver's License
Experience/Knowledge/Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience preferred
- Strong understanding PLC devices
- Ability to always work in a safe manner at all times and follow safety regulations and procedures
- Diagnosing system issues and determining the cause
- Installing updates/Maintaining/developing manuals for all systems
- Communicating with other Techs and engineers to design and install systems/tech support
- Testing PLC devices with connecting machines for connection/interruption issues
- Keep accurate data entry for device issues and resolution (Field reports)
- Setting up PLC devices for new or existing machines along with communicating with operators on changes or maintenance
- knowledge of Dielectrics, voltmeters, multi-meters, manometer testers, etc.
- possible telephone support for existing customers when needed
- Ability to work inside/outside (all elements of weather conditions), confined spaces, moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment
- conforming to company procedure with, expense reports, hours, etc.
- possible travel depending on where the job is located
