JD:
- 10-12 years of experience in managing Postgres databases.
- 5 years of experience should be on the cloud version preferably AWS experience in managing databases as RDS services in AWS, security policy, user authentication, IAM, and database administration in AWS.
- Install, configure, patch, Migrate, Maintain, and upgrade Open-source Database platforms Databases like PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS
- Working Knowledge of EDB, Oracle, SQL Server and AWS Day to Day operation on S3 EC2 etc
- Experience in Postgres SQL performance improvement, indexing/other approaches
- Experience with message queuing, full-text indexing, and other high-performance data concepts
- Experience in AWS environment management and knowledge of different tools for the same
- Experience in Postgres SQL migration approach, estimating it, and technically managing it
- Hands-on Experience in Jira, GitHub, Ansible & Terraform.
- AWS RDS hands-on experience
- Capacity planning, performance assessment of AWS RDSs
- Strong Postgres/SQL Server DB administration experience in production environments
- Configuration and support of complex RDS Databases in AWS environment, Configuring and managing high availability, resiliency solutions leveraging Aurora Read replicas & Global Database
- Experience in managing multiple RDS, database versions on large systems
- Practical experience in monitoring
- Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices
- Experience in using Performance Insights, RDS KPI design and management.
- Working knowledge of Lambda, Python
