Civil Engineer – Land Development
Location: New Hampshire
Job Description:
We seek an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team, specializing in civil engineering and land development projects requiring local, state, and federal permitting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in New Hampshire and a deep understanding of the state's regulations and permitting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design civil site plans, roadways, and stormwater management systems using AutoCAD and HydroCAD (preferred).
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, and correspondence to support project execution.
- Conduct construction observations and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Handle local, state, and federal permit applications, ensuring adherence to all regulations.
- Manage project submittals, including technical and administrative documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.) required; EIT certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development projects in New Hampshire.
- Strong understanding of New Hampshire permitting requirements and processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with HydroCAD is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Experience Level:
- 3 years of project engineering and management experience in New Hampshire is mandatory.
