Industrial Maintenance

Sark Wire is seeking a motivated and experienced Industrial Maintenance Employee to join our team in Eastanollee, GA. In this role, you will support our manufacturing operations by performing multi-craft equipment maintenance with a focus on reliability and maintainability. Your responsibilities will include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on motors, conveyor systems, and other production machinery to ensure optimal performance and sustainability.

Shifts:

1st shift: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

2nd shift: 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. (5% shift premium)

3rd shift: 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (10% shift premium)

We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule as every two weeks we may need the employee to switch shifts depending on company needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies.

· Install and align mechanical drive systems.

· Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including major service and equipment overhauls.

· Replace failed parts or components as needed.

· Adjust equipment to meet operational specifications.

· Maintain proper machinery lubrication requirements.

· Recommend process or procedural improvements based on observed equipment performance.

· Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure safe and proper operation.

· Install, inspect, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records to establish historical data and plan for future maintenance needs.

· Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on proper equipment servicing and condition monitoring.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Immediately report all accidents, incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all prescribed safety procedures to prevent injuries and maintain a safe working environment.

General Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· 2-year Technical Degree preferred.

· Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience or comparable skills demonstration required.

· Strong mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic background.

· Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Excel.

· Familiarity with standard shop equipment, including drill presses, band saws, and portable power tools.

· Ability to read and interpret precision measuring devices.

· Strong multitasking skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
