Job Overview

Saronic is looking for an exceptional senior accountant to join the accounting and finance team supporting Saronic’s rapid growth. You will be responsible for reconciling and analyzing balance sheet and P&L accounts and ensuring transactions are processed and reported accurately in our financial system. You will also work closely with members of the accounting team and cross-functionally to improve cross-functional processes and the related system solutions. You will be an instrumental part of creating and maintaining the policies and procedures needed to scale our organization.

This is a full-time role, reporting to our Corporate Controller, based in our office in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for day-to-day operations and close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement variance analysis and monthly internal and external financial reporting
• Manage end to end processes, ensuring proper transactional accounting as well as system solutioning to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist with ERP implementation and adoption
• Collaborate on the development of policies and procedures as we scale our organization
• Manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines and maintain attention to detail
• Assist with financial and tax audits
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and build strong cross-functional relationships across the organization
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), practices and procedures
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret financial documents and contracts
• Ability to think outside the box and be nimble
• Deadline driven and an ability to prioritize tasks
• MS Office/Google Workspace skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
• Netsuite experience (preferred) or other accounting ERP experience
• Ability to solve problems as they arise
