SUMMARY

The Organizational Development and Learning Manager plays a key role in advancing our mission to create the Best Cheese in the World by enhancing performance through organizational development initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing strategies that build a culture of continuous learning, foster engagement, and develop Team Member capabilities to drive organizational success. As a trusted partner, the Organizational Development and Learning Manager collaborates with leaders to assess needs, design tailored initiatives and provide innovative solutions to support business objectives. This position is based in Plymouth, WI, with a minimum on-site requirement of four days per week and oversees one direct report.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Culture Leadership: Champion Sartori's culture and values by modeling and coaching the desired behaviors. Integrate Values in Action into organizational programs, communication, and change management efforts.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with leaders to develop and execute organizational development strategies aligned with the company’s goals, including leadership development, performance management, onboarding and engagement initiatives.
  • Needs Assessment: Partner with business leaders to assess training and development needs that support organizational objectives.
  • Program Design & Management: Design, manage, and evaluate organizational development programs, using best practices for adult learners.
  • Training and Development: Create and facilitate programs that enhance skills, knowledge, and competencies. Evaluate effectiveness and adjust as needed.
  • Performance Management: Lead Sartori's performance management process including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback. Oversee system configuration, communication, and training.
  • Career Management: Implement the company’s career management strategy, including career paths, competency modeling, and development tools aligned with company culture and needs.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, including developing communication plans and providing support to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Team Member Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance Team Member engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish metrics to evaluate the impact of organizational development initiatives and guide continuous improvement.
  • Technology Management: Leverage technology to enhance learning programs and oversee the strategic direction of the UKG Pro™ Learning to maximize its benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or related field, required.
  • Certification in organizational development (CPTD), change management, coaching, or related is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in organizational development, talent management, or related field required; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and change management practices.
  • Proven ability to design and implement training and development programs.
  • Experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and improvements.
  • Professional facilitation experience required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Must adapt schedule to meet business needs based on manufacturing schedules.
  • Occasional travel may be required (estimated 10%).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
