**Job Description**
In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic management of Sartorius' intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, designs, trade secrets, and copyrights. You will work closely with inventors from Product Development and Corporate Research to assess patentability, manage inventor-remuneration systems, and oversee monthly IP committees.
You will also prepare licensing agreements, review IP-related clauses, and facilitate IP training for staff members. Additionally, you will manage IP litigation and invalidity actions, monitor third-party IP filing activities, and coordinate with Business Development on assessing IP potential.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, life sciences, biology, chemistry, data analytics, engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an IP Manager in a corporate multinational environment is required.
A background in computer-implemented and software-related inventions is a plus. You should possess excellent analytical skills, negotiation skills, and interdisciplinary communication skills. A qualification as a German, European, or US Patent Attorney is an asset.
