As the Material Master Data Specialist, you must be highly organized and focused on providing excellent customer service. You will work with our local and global spare part management teams, adhere to deadlines, ensure efficient and reliable data management, and collaborate with various teams to support operational continuity and process improvements.
The Material Master Data Specialist provides guidance for business process / systemic requirements impacting ERP systems (mainly SAP) and / or Master Data. Our Spare Parts Management Team has an excellent opportunity for a M aterial Master Data Specialist to join the team at our Bohemia, NY site.
This hybrid position works Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. (remote two days).
What you will accomplish together with us :
Execute material processes for data maintenance in SAP, including product data cleansing.
Enable data quality and operational performance evaluation with reports and visualizations.
Implement suitable and appropriate measures to realize the potential for improvement.
Creating relevant reports and visualization for measuring data quality and operational performance.
Initiate, align, and follow up on process improvements and standardization around spare parts and their periphery.
Lead projects regarding data management, spare parts processes, and integrations.
Act as a business partner regarding data management.
Travel approximately 20% domestically and / or internationally.
What will convince us :
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Business / Administration, Technical, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, and / or Manufacturing.
5 years of work experience with data structures, databases, and systems.
2 years of experience in SAP and SQL, focusing on data management.
Proven Project Management experience.
Proficient usage of MS Office Applications focusing on Excel and Access.
