About the job
The Health and Life Sciences division within SAS R&D is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to join our SAS Health development team. As a member of the health development team you will be responsible for the software development of our Viya 4-based SAS Health, SAS Health GenAI Copilot and SAS Health Episode Builder solutions.
You will:
Design and develop product features to provide high quality testable and scalable software solutions. .
Evolve software architecture to meet changes in product requirements.
Participate in all steps of the continuous development lifecycle - including design, development, and testing.
Ensure quality by creating and maintaining unit tests.
Provide support of the product to internal customers.
Collaborate with team members to implement innovative approaches to real world problems.
Collaborate with technical writers to share information with end users in the form of product documentation, videos, and/or white papers.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience working on large complex software products as a developer.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications
Proficiency in both server (Java / Go) and client (React / TypeScript) technologies.
Good experience in working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Demonstrated experience with unit, regression, and integration testing.
Demonstrated experience of Agile development practices and tools such as JIRA.
Demonstrated experience CI/CD and associated tools like Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Linux commands, etc
