Program Manager
Job Summary:
The Program Manager oversees the implementation and management of scientific and engineering grant review cycles for federal contracts. This role combines technical expertise, strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Core responsibilities include planning, coordinating, budgeting, and executing research programs while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and guide a project team of 4–6 members, ensuring quality standards across deliverables.
- Manage multiple concurrent scientific and engineering grant review cycles, meeting timelines and contractual obligations.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with contract requirements.
- Act as a liaison with project officers and maintain communication with Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs).
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of research programs for federal contracts.
- Track and assess work performance across assigned projects as the Program Manager.
- Review work products and provide technical guidance to team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Effectively utilize project management systems and collaboration tools to streamline operations.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, including four (4) years in subject matter work.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in engineering, computer science, or a related field is required.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
Special Requirements:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience in research, project management, and budget oversight.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Zoom, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Box, Slack, and SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify process improvements and implement practical solutions.
- Familiarity with SalesForce is preferred.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
