Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Relationship Manager is a pivotal role designed to bridge the gap between hardware startups and the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities:Partner Engagement and Relationship Building
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with hardware startups, manufacturing companies, and supply chain partners to facilitate collaborative opportunities.
- Serve as a key liaison between entrepreneurs and manufacturers, ensuring alignment of goals and seamless collaboration.
- Provide guidance and resources to startups on manufacturing best practices, supplier connections, and scaling strategies.
Program Management and Coordination
- Assist in the design, implementation, and coordination of regional accelerator programs tailored to manufacturing and product development needs.
- Organize and lead events such as facility tours, workshops, and networking sessions to foster engagement between startups and manufacturers.
- Oversee the scheduling and delivery of program components, ensuring alignment with participant needs and organizational objectives.
Community and Ecosystem Development
- Actively represent the organization at regional events to promote manufacturing innovation and entrepreneurial development.
- Identify and connect startups with funding opportunities, mentorship programs, and other resources to support their growth.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and report on program outcomes, including partnership success stories, manufacturing milestones, and economic impacts such as revenue growth and job creation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities and participant progress.
Qualifications and Requirements:Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, industrial engineering, or manufacturing management).
- At least three years of experience in relationship management, program coordination, or a related role within the manufacturing or entrepreneurial ecosystem.
