About the job
Americas Consulting is looking for a Sr Director Americas PMO Leader to lead the Americas Project Management Office (PMO). Our team creates amazing analytic value for our customers with the SAS Software. Whether it is helping a bank fight money laundering to providing recommendations on effective distribution of snow removal equipment for a transportation department; the Project Managers are the foundation of each project’s success!
As the Americas PMO Leader, you will:
- Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives. Lead the PMO team in executing these plans effectively.
- Oversee the management of the project portfolio, ensuring projects are aligned with business priorities and resources are allocated efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project teams. Ensure clear communication and manage expectations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Work Location:
Job may be performed from one of the following countries where the candidate is legally able to work: Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, United States.
Required qualifications
- 5 years of experience in leading a team of Project Managers that manage consulting projects.
- 10 years of experience in the Project Management field.
- Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Preferred qualifications
- Managed a portfolio of over 25 projects, ensuring all projects were delivered on time and within budget.
- Negotiated with a client to extend the project, resulting in at least 20% increase in project scope and revenue.
- Successfully managed a project budget of greater than $10 million, while ensuring the project margin remained above 20%.
- Developed a training program for project managers that improved team performance and increased project success rates by greater than 15%.
