Automotive Car Detailer

As a Detailer, you are responsible for providing cosmetic prep services for a wide variety of automotive marketing events. Ideal candidates should be able to identify and remedy cosmetic issues inside and out, including minor paint imperfections, blemishes, scuffs, scratches, stains, etc. Attention to detail, thoroughness, consistency, and personal ownership of completed work are critical traits for successful Automotive Detailers. Must be comfortable working inside vehicles, using ladders, and a variety of cleaning products daily.   Salary Overview:The pay rate for this role starts at $18 per hour based on experience.   Hours: The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.   Detailer Responsibilities Include: Vacuuming and washing the interior and exterior of vehicles. Ensure that the quality of service (vehicle preparation, timeliness) consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations. Work jointly with the Quality Inspection department to ensure cosmetic quality. Ensure all necessary vehicle cleaning/prep supplies are readily on hand. Record worked hours on a per-vehicle basis.   Detailer Qualifications and Skills: Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Proven consistent work history. Physical fitness and flexibility enable candidates to be on their feet or inside of vehicles for most of the workday. Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
