What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter position at sasholdings?
As a Porter, you are responsible for vehicle movement within the property. Occasionally you will shuttle vehicles outside of the property as well. In addition to vehicle movement, you will also direct traffic throughout the facility. This involves communication with team members for deliveries and pick-up of vehicles and materials.
Salary Overview:The pay rate for this role starts at $15 per hour based on experience.
Hours:
The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm.
Porter Responsibilities Include:
Moving vehicles throughout the property daily.
Shuttle vehicles to and from locations as requested.
Direct delivery traffic as needed.
Manage vehicle storage lots daily.
Assist in receiving vehicles from transporters.
Ensure vehicles are ready to enter or leave the shop when designated.
Maintain organized storage lots, ensuring vehicles were parked as designated.
Assist with directing non-company delivery drivers.
Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.
Porter Qualifications and Skills:
Must have a valid driver's license.
At least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
