What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at sasholdings?
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for picking orders as the invoices are printed and setting part(s) at each route staging area. You will also be responsible for unloading inbound deliveries and putting them away in bin locations after inbounding has been checked in and locations are written for each part.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include:
Accurately offload inbound vendor trucks. Will need Indiana drivers license
Conduct quality control upon receipt.
Receive products against purchase orders.
Accurately store/stock products in line with Dock to Stock expectations to support efficient picking practices.
Rotate and re-stock based on FIFO (First In, First Out) dates and stocking levels as dictated by product type and stocking level.
Utilize restocking and forward-stocking practices.
Practice powered industrial equipment safety as well as general dock safety.
Perform research bin/part variances.
Empty trash and cardboard accumulated throughout the warehouse.
Manage the trouble table, where product that could not be received is placed.
Set up returns through UPS and other freight software.
Pick orders utilizing RF unit and/or manual pick tickets.
Stage orders on driver delivery shelves or outbound staging bins.
Load/unload bulk products onto driver trucks.
Audit parts to verify the delivery location.
Read invoices for any special notes.
Keep products flowing efficiently and accurately through the outbound process.
Label e-commerce orders for dealer delivery.
Label LPO/DIO orders for dealer delivery.
Conduct Cycle Counts as needed.
Cross-train for other roles within the warehouse to maximize the efficiency of the team.

Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Forklift, part picker, and powered pallet jack experience is preferred.
