Your Role
As a Senior Accountant at Cartera Consultants, you will play a key role in providing financial expertise to our clients. You’ll manage the financial operations for several restaurant groups, support new ventures, and contribute to strategic planning alongside our leadership team.
This full-time, on-site position offers a dynamic work environment with room for growth and collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily account reviews and supervise data entry personnel.
- Manage month-end close processes and prepare adjustment entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform cash forecasting and payroll analysis.
- Handle new entity formations, including LLC setup, FEIN acquisition, lease reviews, and operating agreements.
- Conduct ROI/NPV analysis and develop financial models.
- Create budgets and ensure timely payroll and sales tax filings.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, with GAAP experience.
- Proven skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Proficiency with financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- CPA certification (preferred but not required).
- Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
