What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator position at SATA USA?
Position Description:
The CNC Operator will be operating computer numeric controlled (CNC) heavy machinery, maintain the working area in line with standards and reach the maximum efficiency in respect to safety, quality and productivity required.
Machine Set Up:
- Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding and milling
- Understand the specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to customer product specifications.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Mechanical knowledge and excellent math skills
· A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
· Self-Directed and ability to supervise others if needed
Physical Demands:
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
· Must be able to occasionally move about the inside the office to access files, equipment, etc.
· Constantly operates production machinery
· Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder
· Able to lift 45 lbs
Job Type: Full-time
