HM Notes:
- Prior experience with Axiom
- Sr level role, lead role, working with jr resources, working with teams outside of US
- 8-10 years of experience in IT roles
- Tool used heavily in finance industry
- 3-4 with Axiom experience
- Familiar with reporting initiatives
Qualifications (must haves):
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience as a developer in IT Industry.
- Minimum 3 years of hard-core hands-on development experience with Axiom controller view
- Knowledge & hands on expertise on various regulatory & risk reporting modules in Axiom such as (Prime reports, CCAR, SCCL, FR2052a etc.,.)
- Familiarity & hands on experience with financial & reporting data
- Proven analytical skills & problem-solving capabilities are must
- Good communication skills (verbal & written) are must
- Ability to work closely with business partners & technology teams and having the ability to provide walkthroughs.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Must have the ability to create Axiom objects such As Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations along with other data mapping activities.
- Must have prior experience in mapping and configuring free form reports, tabular reports and automation of Axiom workflows.
- Prior experience on configuring APAC taxonomy reports (Singapore, Australia) and EMEA regulatory reporting initiatives is must.
- Prior experience and knowledge on US regulatory reports is a benefit - FFIEC031, FFIEC041, FFIEC009 etc.,
- Work in the role of an Axiom Developer in a fast-paced environment, must be a self-starter, comfortable dealing with clients, VERY strong communication skills.
- Must have the ability to review project related documents such as BRD, FSD and understand the design and solutions architecture with minimal guidance.
- Hands on development of ETL jobs, Shell scripting and delivering the functionality details in technical specifications.
- Development and review of PL SQL & other DB code to support date sourcing into Axiom.
- Ensuring code written meets the predefined company and departments standards.
- Must have prior performance tuning experience both inside the Axiom controller view as well as at the DB level.
- Preparation and execution of detailed unit test cases.
- Creation of Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Fee Form and Tabular Report and workflows using AXIOM controller view tool based on Regulatory report requirements.
- Migration of Axiom components from one environment to another.
- Understanding the Functional documents and work with BA/Users to develop the reports.
- Good experience in Regulatory Reporting and Data Warehousing.
