Job Description:

Satellite Connections Inc is seeking a Network Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers enjoy a seamless experience with our Dish Network, DirecTV, and wireless internet services. This position involves on-site service and installation of our products, as well as providing exceptional customer support to address technical issues and inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and service of satellite television and internet equipment at customers' homes.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with satellite receivers, modems, and other equipment.
• Ensure all installations and services are completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with company guidelines.
• Educate customers on the use and functionality of satellite equipment and services.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with the support team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay updated on the latest satellite technology and services to provide expert advice to customers.
• Ensure the safe and efficient use of tools and equipment during installations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in satellite installation, cable installation, or related technical field is preferred.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
