Summary : We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Officer to lead and enhance hospital-wide quality, safety, and compliance initiatives. This executive-level role requires a strategic leader who can drive continuous improvement in patient safety, regulatory compliance, and accreditation processes. Reporting directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors, you will oversee critical functions such as quality performance, accreditation, patient relations, infection prevention, and risk management. Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee quality and safety programs to ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies.
- Lead hospital-wide risk management, including root cause analysis and learning from defects.
- Coordinate Medical Staff Peer Review and facilitate Hospital Patient Safety / Quality Council meetings.
- Prepare and present quality reports to the Medical Executive Committee and the Board.
- Manage accreditation, licensing, and patient safety programs through delegation and oversight.
- Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across the hospital system. Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
- Progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality and safety.
- Proven track record of improving healthcare quality outcomes.
- CPHQ and CPPS certifications or willingness to obtain within one year. Benefits :
