Tax Manager, General Tax

Join a collaborative and dynamic firm in the Tustin, CA area as a Tax Manager focused on individual and business tax returns. In this role, you’ll lead a team, review and sign tax filings, provide guidance to clients, and help grow the firm through client relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure accuracy and timely filing of individual and business tax returns.
• Review, approve, and sign tax returns for client distribution.
• Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their skills and career growth.
• Collect relevant client tax information to ensure thorough and accurate return preparation.
• Assess tax situations to ensure clients receive the maximum benefit available.
• Cultivate and expand client relationships to support firm growth and new business development.
• Track and bill for client services provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Active CPA or EA license required.
• 5-7 years of experience in public accounting focused on tax.
• Prior leadership experience is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Knowledge of various industries with a strong ability to interpret financial statements.
