Due to Satterfield & Pontikes' continued growth and expansion, we are adding a Project Executive to our San Antonio team.
In this position you will oversee teams working on projects in the $20-300 million range. Projects include Aviation, Education, and other ground up Commercial Projects. Requirements :
- B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of Ten (10 ) years of experience in managing construction projects over $25 million.
The role you will play :
Program Management & Operational Excellence
Ensure compliance and operational excellence in the following areas : contract review, estimating, business unit turnover coordination, risk management, and performanceSupport project bidding, including reviewing bid requirements, assisting with Bid Team assignments, reviewing scope coverage, assisting in Bid Schedule development, and assisting in creating General Conditions budgetParticipate in successful project buyoutAccountable for ongoing safety on job sites and review and mitigate accident trends; enforce course corrections to ensure safety, quality, profitable, and on-time resultsVisit each project site on a regular basis to remain updated on construction activitiesProvide feedback to Estimating / Pre-Construction on projects and for use in future bidding or negotiationsElevate and participate in all legal mattersComplete other program-related duties as neededTalent Development & Management
Participate in the recruiting, training, reviewing, and supervision of project personnel and contribute to the selection, training, and development for key positionsCreate learning and development partnerships with team members to aid career growthAssist with the creation of cross-functional teams & group project plans for a solution-oriented environmentConduct crucial conversations regarding employee performance and developmentEnergize and support team to consistently reach higher levels of performance, deliver better results, and uphold company values and pillarsBusiness Development & Account Management
Maintain and expand existing account and client relationships; be the "owner" of each new and existing account assigned, and the client's main point of contactContribute to Business Unit Leader and Business Development Manager's process in identifying new account and project opportunities by market sector and geography; share in developing Account Plans accordinglyParticipate in end-game business development activities, including proposal and presentation development. Work closely with Business Development Manager and Marketing team to write appropriate narratives and review deliverables to articulate the message developed during early and middle-game activitiesPartner regularly with Business Development to participate in and attend networking and industry / client events; participate in client entertainment activities as appropriatePartake in the review and management of the assigned project development plans & budgetsWork closely with the Business Unit Leader to monitor process management compliance with reporting related to corporate policy and the contract documentsWork with Business Development Manager to develop Individual Project Pursuit PlansRegular office / worksite attendance required.Other duties as assigned.Satterfield and Pontikes Construction, Inc., is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
