Description
Due to Satterfield & Pontikes continued growth we are adding a Safety Specialist to our Austin team. Reporting to our Safety Director you will focus on multiple projects in the Central TX area.

Requirements :
3 years in safety with a commercial general contractor.
Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred.
The role you will play :
- Employee and subcontractors safety-related meetings and presentations
- Review all accident / incident investigation reports for completeness and accuracy
- Publish lessons learned from near misses, accidents, and incidents
- Oversee walk-through inspections at project sites with project personnel; provide technical guidance and expertise to Project Managers and Superintendents
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of sites to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency standards and company policies
- Primary contact and responsible for direct communication with OSHA and all safety regulatory agencies
- Develop programs for monitoring subcontractor safety performance
- Regular job site attendance required
- Other duties as assigned.
