Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cultivation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plant care and cultivation, with hands-on experience in indoor cannabis facilities. As a Cultivation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and productivity of our crops. Any one applying must have OMMA credentials or have applied for renewal. Out of date and new Credential employees will have to wait till they receive credentials to Apply. You will not get hired without OMMA Credentials.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily irrigation tasks to ensure optimal moisture levels for plant growth.
- Utilize basic math skills to measure and mix nutrient solutions accurately.
- Assist in the planting, growing, and harvesting of crops in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cultivation area.
- Monitor plant health by inspecting for pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
- Document growth progress and report any issues to the management team promptly.
Skills
- Experience in defoliation and proper plant maintenance.
- Experience with spraying a IPM regiment.
- Experience Mixing raw salts for irrigation tank.
- Familiarity with indoor cannabis operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to plant cultivation and care.
We are a new but established grow. We just moved locations and will be expanding quickly. There will be plenty of room for advancement and pay increase. But we are just getting started. Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
