What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Administrator/Recruiter position at Saturn Group LLC?
Our well-established cannabis brand and newly established wellness company are looking for an HR Administrator/Recruiter. The successful candidate will be helping to support our 40 employees across our Bellingham warehouse location and Deming commercial kitchen and garden location; this role will also remotely support the small but growing team in our Arizona office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Facilitate and execute all phases of the recruitment process.
· Collaborate with HR Director to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
· Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
· Schedule interviews, conduct follow-up with hiring managers and potential candidates to move forward with the hiring process.
· Onboard all new joiners, ensuring all required new hire documentation is completed, and collect all required collateral to complete new hire files.
· Collaborate with the HR Director and hiring manager during the offer process, identifying start dates, and other pertinent details for on-boarding and payroll.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
· Administer organizational policies such as attendance, Combined PTO, work anniversaries, holiday celebrations, internal communications and other tasks related to human resources as assigned. Keep all employee files up to date and organized.
· Communicate with employees through the dedicated HR mobile phone and email, with responsibility for receiving and responding to all correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
· Responsible for administration of the Safety Program, research topics and content and schedule monthly meetings at each location.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to create and implement recruitment for a variety of roles.
· Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
· Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Ability to work from both Deming and Bellingham locations as required.
Required Experience:
2 years Recruiting, staffing.
