What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long-Term Middle High School Music Teacher position at SAU 20 Gorham?
SAU 20 is looking for a long-term sub in our Gorham Middle High School.
This position will be for longer than 20 days and needs to be filled by an educator with a current NH DOE certification.
Position starts the school year (August 25, 2025) and is expected to end at Thanksgiving break.
This position works with students from both the middle and high school.
A School Music Teacher educates students in music theory, instrumental or vocal techniques, and music history, developing their musical skills and appreciation. They plan and deliver engaging lessons, and posses the following.
Proficiency in music theory, instrumental performance, and vocal techniques.
Ability to work with students of varying ages and skill levels and create a supportive learning environment.
