Applicants will be subjected to a criminal background check as required by law. (RSA 189:13-a) Pre-Employment Medical Examination signed by a Licensed Physician indicating that the employee is medically capable of performing designated assignment. (RSA 200:36 and 275:3)General Duties, at the discretion of the District, may include: 1.
Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and safety.a. Clean floors, carpets, bathrooms, walkways, hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, walls, windows, and all other areas of the building and grounds as instructed by the supervisor. Finish floors using strippers and final finishes.b. Maintain effective lighting throughout the building.c.
Empty trash and maintain a safe area around dumpsters.d. Insure that floor and building areas are safe and secure. Unlock and secure doors and windows in building.e. Maintain a safe area within and around the building by removing hazardous debris.f.
All other duties as assigned to specific position held (according to school building specific needs).2. Equipment operation and safety.a. Operate heavy-duty scrubbing, buffing, shampooing, vacuuming, and wet/dry pick-up equipment.b. Know proper safety techniques and procedures and wear protective equipment when required/requested.c.
Report fire hazards and other emergencies.d. Perform preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment.e. Use of other equipment as assigned.3. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism.a.
Demonstrate positive work habits by showing initiative, cooperation, dependability, efficiency, and productivity.b. Follow the guidelines of confidentiality as established by the school district.c. Attend and participate in relevant training sessions, meetings, and professional growth activities as requested/required.d. Perform in a professional manner when interacting with students, parents, faculty, administration, and co-workers.e.
