This is a full-time middle school social studies position. The position involves working within a teaming structure and requires a solid understanding of middle school philosophy and best practices. The candidate will have a comprehensive science background, have the ability to provide relevant social studies experiences and the ability to use data to inform instruction. The candidate will also be well versed in the implementation of the social studies curriculum. The candidate will also demonstrate a solid understanding of best practice of instruction and grading. In addition, teachers will have an advisory group and work to develop/implement Project-Based Learning.
