Assist with library management and operations and with instruction and programming. This position is for 7 hours per day for 189 days: 178 school days; 4 paid holidays; 2 workshop days; and 5 additional days. Participation in the NH Retirement System is required. Additional benefits include the District contribution toward Health Insurance, plus fully paid Dental, Life, and Long-Term Disability.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.
Assists media specialist in the overall supervision of the media center. Assist students and staff inobtaining information, books, materials and equipment.2. Manage circulation and catalog systems.3. Conduct daily backup of automated circulation/catalog system.4.
Facilitate checking library resources in and out.5. Assist with library preparation at beginning and closing of school year.6. Assist in maintaining the library's resource collections.7. Conduct library skill activities under the direction of media specialist.8.
Review/correct student activities from personally taught classes.9. Work with students with respect to use of library and its resources.10. Assists with the appropriate use of technology by students and staff.11. Assist with library housekeeping.12.
Clerical work as needed.13. Assist with school routine including facilitating internal communications and general studentsupervision.14. Perform other duties as assigned necessary to the operation of the school.
