What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at Sauce on the Side?
This position is responsible for coordinating the dining experience, wherever the guest enjoys their meal. Promote sales through service and guest satisfaction. Work as a team member to ensure constant quality, service, cleanliness and value to each guest.
Greet all guests, utilize menu knowledge to assist in the ordering process
Answer phone calls using a company suggested scripts in a fast and courteous manner
Accurately input orders into the computer system and coordinate proper times for carry out and delivery orders
Handle cash and credit transactions; accurately account for all receivables including cash, credit cards, coupons and gift cards
Practice safe food and beverage handling
Ensure each guest receives service above expectations, delivering quick food service, assisting with refills and thanking each guest that visits
Assist in refills and packaging of food for guests
Complete daily and weekly duties and cleaning as assigned
Skills:
Identify and resolve issues as they arise
Detail oriented, good organizational skills and able to multi-task and prioritize
Excellent guest service skills, communication skills, and experience
Must have the ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions, and have strong menu knowledge
Computer skills (POS system)
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Exhibit good manners, positive attitude, promptness and proper hygiene
Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant, including moving and responding quickly for extended periods of time
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Salary : $16
